Curtis Briggs received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at California State, San Bernardino where he became President of the Students for Social Justice club. He went on to receive a Public Interest Scholarship to Golden Gate University School of Law. There he completed his Juris Doctorate, going on to receive the graduation award for Academic Excellence in Criminal Law. Beginning his career as an attorney, he volunteered at the San Francisco Public Defenders Office for three years, where he worked alongside the most tenacious public defenders in America, litigating cases involving burglary, narcotics possession and sales, rape, attempted murder, hate crimes, battery , and more. Curtis now boasts an exemplary record for dismissals in his career as a private practice trial attorney in San Francisco.

James Mulgannon was raised in the Bay Area and is a 3rd year student at Santa Clara Law. He believes that criminal defendants deserve to have their voices heard and wants to pursue a career that furthers this cause. Briggs Law is happy to have James on board.
